With decades of experience, Dr. Rona Z Silkiss is the Bay Area's leading expert in oculofacial plastic, reconstructive and orbital surgery.
This is a highly specialized area of plastic surgery focusing on the area around the eyes, forehead and midface.
Many of our patients request cosmetic eyelid and forehead surgery, which we perform using the most sophisticated state-of-the-art techniques available. In addition, Silkiss Eye Surgery performs cosmetic facial rejuvenation with light touch, flattering and non-invasive techniques such as Botox, Dysport, and a full range of filler services.
Dr. Silkiss also provides reconstructive surgery for people with age-related eyelid conditions. These include drooping eyelids (blepharoplasty, ptosis), eyelid malposition (entropion, ectropion), and eyelash abnormalities.
We treat tumors of the eyelids and orbit, trauma, congenital abnormalities, thyroid eye disease, tearing problems, and blinking difficulties (blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm).
Dr. Silkiss is experienced in endoscopic tear duct and brow surgery.
She is a published researcher in the use of biologics, such as Tepezza for thyroid eye disease (Graves' disease).
